What the Desk holds
Two things the daily case leaves out.
02 · Your record, explained
Know why your rank sits where it does.
The ten readings behind your form, your ranks by date, each kind of case beside the room. Two Shields a week carry your run over missed mornings, and you can speak a reading instead of typing it.
The room’s average by kind of case
Your own figures sit beside the room’s, every month.

For the first hundred Inspectors
Can I cancel?
Subscriptions: anytime, one click, and your membership stays until the period you paid for ends. The founding seat is a single payment: nothing renews, nothing to cancel.
Does membership raise my rank?
No. Every rank comes from daily cases, the same for every player. Membership explains your rank; it never changes it.
What happens to my record if I cancel?
It stays yours. Your readings, your run and your place on the standings are kept; the archive, the second Shield and dictation go back to the free allowance when the period you paid for ends.
What does lifetime mean?
One payment, an Inspector for as long as Daily Holmes runs. The 14-day refund window applies to it like any other charge.
Refunds
Within 14 days of any charge, write to bureau@dailyholmes.com and we sort it out.
Is the daily case still free?
Always. Membership opens the archive and the tools; the morning case stays everyone’s.
Where does the money go?
Into the case work: the photographs, the writing, the scoring of every reading, and the mornings that keep the Bureau open. One person makes Daily Holmes; members are why it keeps going.
The daily case stays free. Always.
The Desk is for the mornings you want more of it.
